Patents initiatives
We're continuously looking for ways to improve your experience with the Australian patents system. We’ve commissioned a ground-breaking research study into the feasibility of a patent co-design process.

To make sure we're providing a world class design rights system, we've completely reviewed our existing system to see how we could make it better.

Plant breeder's initiatives
To help support the protection of plant varieties in Australia, we're making some changes to the plant breeder's rights (PBR) system. In consultation with our customers and PBR stakeholders, we're looking at ways of making the system better by exploring Australia’s plant breeding ecosystem and the role of PBR.
